The area of Westphalia was their origin, and it was where metal specialists could be recruited. The plan failed because the resources did't fit with the specs. I have often wondered if the succeeding Kempers kept that special knowledge of metals thru time. I haven't found any evidence that says they did, but I can't help but think that, somehow or another, that knowledge "stayed" in the family. <br /><br />I believe Barbara Kemper is saying the Kemper house is no longer at the Cinci Zoo. <br /><br />I am keeping an open view as to whether Reuban Kemper was part of the expedition.
